Break Up With Your Breakouts
Just because your skin is angry, red, inflamed and sporting some pimples doesn't mean you have to live with it like that. If you're ready to break up with your breakouts and get back your healthy, clear skin, here's how to do it.
1) Figure out why your skin is breaking out.
Breakouts happen for different reasons, which is there are several solutions. Anything from hormonal changes (hello, puberty!), to super oily skin, clogged pores and even a lack of daily washing are responsible for unwelcome visitors.
2. Get smart about your skincare.
Unfortunately, pimples don't always disappear on their own--they need a little help. That's why it's important to stockpile an arsenal of effective skincare products to send breakouts on their way.
We are big fans of cleansers and spot treatments with ingredients like salicylic acid and silver to help reduce the appearance of blemishes while helping to heal the skin. Also, don't forget to hydrate your skin with a lightweight, oil-free moisturizer to keep it balanced without clogging your pores. And sunscreen is always a must!
3. Don't stop once you see results.
The key to keeping pimples at bay is a consistent, well-rounded routine. So once you start to see improvement in your skin, don't stop doing what's working. Clear, healthy skin is a commitment but it's well worth it!
